A variety of differing prefixes are used in vessel designations across the galaxy. Most ships in SCG Space are registered by the SCG Bureau of Ships.

Sol Central Government

• ГДК - Государственный дипломатический корабль (Vessels affiliated with SCG diplomats and ambassadors)
• ГНК - Государственный научный корабль (Исследовательские корабли аффилированые с ЦПСС)

Sol Defense Forces/Fleet

• КСОЦПСС - Корабль Сил Обороны ЦПСС (Vessels affiliated with SCG Defence Forces that are not directly part of the Fleet)
• КФЦПСС - Корабль Флота ЦПСС (Vessels affiliated with the SCG Fleet)

Expeditionary Corps

• ГЭК - Государственный экспедиционный корабль (Vessels affiliated with the SCG Expeditionary Corps)
• ТЭК - Терранский экспедиционный корабль (No longer in use. Vessels affiliated with the old Terran Commonwealth Expeditionary Corps)

Independent/Minor Factions

• FTV - Вольное торговое судно (Судя аффилированые с Вольным Торговым Союзом и его членами, зарегистрированные в Бюро Кораблей ЦПСС)
• IPV - Независимое частное/Пассажирское судно (Privately owned craft not affiliated with any specific organization)
• ITV - Частный торговый корабль (Privately owned merchant vessels not affiliated with any specific organization)
• SSV - Скреллианское разведывательное судно (Skrellian government scouting vessels)
